I've never got lost yet and I've driven in Holland, Germany, Belgium, Australia, Ireland and all the UK. I use a small device called a "map" for the big picture and an Ordnance Survey map for local areas if I'm staying there a while. Oh, and Google Earth satellite view and a print off for anywhere specific. I also use road signs, sometimes ask people and also use my voice, sight and hearing senses plus common sense and a memory which I have had since birth. It came free with the body.

Sounds like you've had an event filled two weeks. Nice of your ex to help out with the car repair.

It always happens that way to us too; buy something go to put it together and something is either missing or broke. Go figure!

Glad there was no damage with the "Bang" but it's a good idea to get it checked out anyway.
